klohmeyer has other ride profile(s):
I've owned my 81 Z28 for 9 years. My kids and I have built it from an empty shell to what it is today entirely in our own garage. The car is powered by a .060 over 350 (361"), balanced and blueprinted, with Speed Pro 10.75 compression hypereutetic pistons. A hydraulic roller cam with .588 lift and roller rockers provide the Trick Flow CNC aluminum heads with plenty of air. A worked over Holley 850 on top of a Victor Jr. manifold keeps power flowing. MSD distributor provides the spark and Summit ceramic coated headers provide the exit into 2.5" exhaust and Cherry Bomb turbo mufflers. A built 350 turbo with B&M internals and a 3500 convertor provide the jump and a 3.73 posi with Lakewood traction bars keep the polished Torque Thrusts and rear 275R60-15 tires planted as well as possible. The lacquer paint was applied by my son and I in our garage and still needs to be rubbed out and final coats of clear sprayed on.
