JW454 has other ride profile(s):
My 1980 Camaro is being totaly re-built this winter from front to rear. I have already completed the Chevy big block that I am going to install and some of the internals include 4 bolt GM block, GM steel crank, Eagle rods, Clevite "H" bearings, Crane mechanical roller cam (.589-.615 lift, 225-235 dur@.050, 112deg LSA), Speed-pro forged pistons, Total Seal file fit rings, GM 049 large oval heads, bowl blended gasket matched and chambers cc'd to 118. Manley stainless 2.19-1.88 valves, Crane double springs, Comp Pro Magnun rockers and stud girdles. On top I went with an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-GAP and a Holley 850 DP. This is a 10:1 comp motor and it should easily make 550+ HP, and at least 500ft lbs. torque. When all is said and done, it will have a three inch exhaust, but still undecided on muffler choice. I aquired a GM 12 bolt rear that is getting 3:73 gears and a Detroit locker differential. I'm installing frame connectors to try and keep the body from twisting and also just got a Prothane complete bushing kit. Power is going to be transmitted through a modified TH400 and alluminum drive shaft. Performance is the main objective with this car, as I am going for the sleeper theme on this one. The car should be pretty nuts and I cant wait to cruise in it next spring! If you would like, you can check out the engine as well as my dually on youtube (A169KL). Thanks.  JW.
