It currently has the stock front disc, rear drum brakes, however I will be upgrading these one of these winters. Tunes come from a NOS 1972 GM AM Stereo 8 track. The instrument panel was customized to fit a full compliment of AutoMeter UltraLite Pro Comp gauges. The door handles are from a Cadillac STS and are a nice added touch. To date I have won first in class at Chicago World of Wheels, The Midwest Corvette and Chevy show, Route 66 NMCA/NMRA Super bowl Show and Shine, Super Chevy Show, Gold at Chevy VetteFest, and first, best of show, best engine or best paint at numerous local events. I run it down the track at Route 66 Joliet, IL now and then just for fun. Best time to date is 12.15 at 111. Although I didn’t build it to race it, it was intended for shows and cruises, I just wanted to see what it would do. What a blast!!!

That is one sweet car! That is the era that I would have most liked to hook up with, but the 1980 will do. You just commented on my ride and I appreciate it. One question I have is, do you like the sound of the Flowmaster 40's? I see you installed the crossover pipe and by doing so, you eliminate some of the low frequencies. Does it still sound tough, or would you have gone with something more aggressive? Do you know how the 44 series sound? Again, that car of yours is a hot one and I hope I can make mine look half that good.  JW.

I saw you at the Joliet GoodGuys show. I recognized the color, Standox Lamborgini Pearl Orange. Very very unique color. That is one cool car. I bet you enjoyed the ride around the track.
