Factory SS/396 car. Factory air, driver's power seat (console car). According to build sheet it started life painted in Fawn metallic with black vinyl top.

The factory rat engine has been replaced with a moderate 355, but the Th and 12 bolt locker is still in place.

She's got 2" drop spindles up front together with lower springs and combined with hi-jackers and lowering springs way back, I think the stance is close to perfect!

All I have done this far is replacing the wheels, adding/changing some missing or bad moldings and changed the carpet.

Near future plans incorporate 4-corner disc brakes and an engine upgrade (502 CBB or a 406 CSB) to get the much desired torque this fatty needs at the stoplights

Thanks for your comment. I totally agree on your moldings comment - Did you see what a hood spear costs?! Didn't know they were cast from solid gold...

Good luck with your upcoming big-inch mouse build!

You have a very nice '66.  I know where you are coming from on the torque needed to come off the stoplight.  I have a '65 SS with a 327 / powerglide combo.  I'm looking to build a similar version of CHP's Impersonator 406 and adding a TCI turbo 350.  By the way aren't the prices for new molding outrageous?
