It's an old chevy i've been driving and the original 4.3 was getting over 200,000 miles on it and i had the chanch to get ahold of an old 283. I had it bored .060 over and put a mild cam in it. Has an Accell 50,000 volt coil and HEI distibutor in it. For now i'm using the stock 2-brrl intake and rochester carb. After alot of blood, sweat, tears, and a real lot of cursing, I got the engine in and running. My tranny is a NV4500 backed by a NP241 transfer. Rear axel is a 14 bolt semi-floating, the front axel is whtever they put under these IFS trucks. I plan on puting a solid axel under it.
